Ana is an English teacher at Primary School Danilo Kiš in Belgrade, Serbia, with 17 years of experience. Apart from teaching, she has worked as an entrepreneur, content writer, and ESL textbook reviewer. Ana is an expert in classroom technology, inclusion, and teaching drama. As a mentee of the EVE Mentorship Programme and a speaker for ELTA Serbia, she has presented on topics like digital health, humour in the classroom, and using TikTok as an educational tool.

Anabella is a teacher of English Language and Intercultural Studies at UNLP and UNPaz, Argentina, and is completing her postgraduate studies on university extension. She also works at public schools in La Plata. Since 2021 she coordinates ‘Puente entre lenguas’, a human rights and intercultural literature workshop for migrant communities at 'Escuelita Eva Duarte'. She believes in the potential of language teaching as a springboard for equality and empowerment.

Burcu Kayarkaya | TOEFL Scholarship Winner 2025
Burcu has been working as an ELT instructor at the Modern Languages Department of Yıldız Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey) for over 20 years, where she also serves as the Academic Coordinator. The department she works at offers EAP courses to undergraduate students across various disciplines at the university. She holds an MA in Language Testing and Assessment and is currently a PhD candidate, focusing her research on translanguaging-embedded EAP writing and its assessment.

George is an Assistant Lecturer in Education at Marino Institute of Education, Ireland, specialising in English for Academic Purposes. He holds an MSc in TESOL, the Trinity DipTESOL, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. As a Fellow of Advance HE and a member of the Association for Learning Technology, George delivers both in-person and online courses, and provides training in teacher development and technology-enhanced learning. He is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education (EdD) with a focus on Digital Technologies at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

She has worked for Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO) in the area of English for specific purposes for the last 32 years. She was in charge of reopening the English Teacher Education Program at UFRO in 2012. She has also conducted research, which focuses on Chileans’ difficulties to learn English.
Phyo Wai Tun | Glossobooks Scholarship Winner 2025
Phyo Wai is an English teacher and educator from Myanmar. His research interest is in exploring and advocating for local teaching practices that are practical, feasible, and sustainable within the local context. He is dedicated to promoting inclusive and empowering English language teaching approaches that cater to the unique needs of learners and teachers. He founded the online community of practice for English Language Teachers in Myanmar (ELTiM), initiating several teacher development projects to enhance local practices and support professional development for teachers in difficult circumstances.

Serhii, Ph.D., works as an Associate Professor at the Foreign Languages Department of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine). He holds the Cambridge Delta, has organised and facilitated multiple projects, trainings and webinars, e.g. "English as a Medium of Instruction" (2021-2024), United Business Community Project (2022), British Council’s courses "Developing Teaching Skills in ESP" (2021-2022) and "Teaching in a New Context" (2022-2023), and taught English for the Patrol Police of Ukraine. At his alma mater, he has been teaching ESP and EAP to students of political science, history, and public administration. His hobbies are long-distance running, chess, and travelling.
